Keywords in top 5 position?

Hello Friends,
I have been working on one of the SEO project from past few months and by working consistently on this I had achieved my first target that is to bring all the keywords on top ten position but now I am focusing to bring these in top 5 position and some of the techniques which I am using are directory submission, social bookmarking, forum posting, blogging, article submission etc., Still by using all these techniques the keywords are not yet stable on their position for example one of the keyword was on position 4 and now it has dropped down to position 7. Please suggest some techniques which can be helpful to bring all the keywords in top 5 positions and make them stable.

It seems you are doing the right things so far because your organic web ranks on Google are improving constantly. Perhaps it's just the matter of time when your website will reach the top five domains online. Keep doing what you have been like adding new links to your website and do not forget that content too can help a lot. A lot of websites can be found at the top of Google that have succeeded because of their original contents.

Links are great and there is no doubt about it but when you keep your site updated with fresh content, both search engines and visitors will appreciate your work done. Getting to the top five spots on Google demands being patient too because it may take some time to be done.

I believe you need to add more .edu and .gov links as these sites already got authority because of their domains. You can also add wiki submissions. Type this in the Google search: inurl:wiki + "keyword". As much as possible, only create links to sites that are on the same niche as yours.

Do not forget to add new quality content content on you site. Since you have reached the results you mentioned, I am sure you know how to do this.
